Whats The Best Way to Cook Corn on the Cob for a Crowd? Cooler Corn! Am I the only person who hasn't heard of "cooler corn"! I recieved this from my Hubby's brother in Texas. Notsure exactly where he had gotten it, but it sure sounds like a great side dish when your having a alot of mouths to feed :o)
Ingredients For ~ cooler corn ~
-
cleaned and shucked corn on the cob
-
2 or 3
kettles of boiling water
How To Make ~ cooler corn ~
-
1
Wipe the inside of the cooler clean, then add the shucked ears. (Do not place the cooler on the edge of a counter top)
-
2
Next, Carefully pour two or three kettles-full of boiling water over the corn and close the cooler lid. (No peeking)

In about 30 minutes, your corn will be perfectly cooked and will remain at the perfect level of doneness for a couple of hours. Butter and salt your corn on the cob as you normally would.
